GRIEF SUPPORT AND EDUCATION
KATARZYNA BOROWCZ
AK
workshops - trainingsconsultations

Hello. My name is Katarzyna Borowczak and I am a psychologist, special educator teacher, and grief and wellbeing educator. In my work, through workshops for companies and charities and individual sessions, I create spaces to talk openly and tenderly about death, dying, and grief and the emotions and reflections accompanying these processes. I believe that grief is a deeply human experience, not a problem to be solved and through psychoeducation, safe dialogue, and social support, whether at the individual or social group level, in family, at work, and amongst friends, it is possible to feel less alone and more understood when going through difficult moments of loss.

I invite you to get familiar with my offer and find out more about me

'The workshop on grief education was beautifully and gently facilitated. Katarzyna's style of facilitation was perfect for this topic, and clearly a lot of knowledge and expertise.'

'Kasia invited volunteers from animal welfare organisations in Bydgoszcz to her workshop on coping with pet loss, and that's how we got to know each other. I run the Stukot association, where we help cats, and I know how much the loss of any animal, which we are unable to save, costs each of us. A few years ago, I lost my two beloved cats, and at that time, I didn't know how to take care of my feelings during that dreadful period. Just meeting Kasia is comforting, and the knowledge she imparts is simply essential for everyone for whom their pet is a family member. The loss of the dearest pet in the world is a trauma. From Kasia, you can learn how to cope with it.'

'Kasia is a wonderful person to talk to. Her empathy and maturity made our time together exceptional. I felt a great sense of comfort discussing with her matters that are close, important, and intimate to me. Her knowledge of many cultures and perspectives, along with her education and naturalness, make the meeting valuable, memorable, and allow for a redefinition of many things. Do I recommend her? Absolutely.'
